Kitchen and Steak Knife sets

Our steak knife and kitchen sets are custom designed for your needs.  Any number of pieces, materials, and displays are available for you to choose from.  Our typical sets are 8 steak knives and we can add a 3 or four piece carving set to it.  The Carving sets can include a meat fork, a pairing knife, a carving knife a 9 or 11 inch chef’s knife or any combination there-of.  The possibilities are endless.  The sets can be presented plain, or in an art setting.  Since all of our knives are custom made, we can make a set specifically for you.  If you want a set to match a new kitchen remodel, we can do that for you.  If you would like more steak knives,  a 10 piece, 12 piece set,  or less, a 4 piece or six piece set, the possibilities are endless. Here is a Steak and Carving set with Birds-eye Maple and Black Walnut burl in a Dog-wood burl base.  This set is has a mirror finish on the blades and consists of 8 steak knives, 1 pairing knife, 1 new style meat fork, and a carving knife.  The Carving Knife has a 7″ blade.  The meat fork can pick up any piece of meat you want with no flex.

Carving sets can be part of a set or stand alone, they can be displayed in a burl, a stand, a slab, or just loose.  Any set can include an end-grain cutting board and be any number of pieces.  This set is another of the tri-handle and includes a steak turner.

Sets can be as elaborate as you would like.  Here are two sets that are hidden tang.  One displayed more in an art presentation and one in a beautiful burl.

Elk Antler, Turquoise, Water-buffalo horn, Hidden Tang with a mirror finish. This is presented in a burl that when viewed from the right angle makes this look like a porcupine.

Steak sets can be steak knife only like this Redwood Burl handled set and this Koa set. Here is  an 8 piece steak knife set with a mirror finish and set into a piece of ribbon redwood.  A simple or elaborate base can be part of the presentation.

Our basic sets are satin finish with beautiful woods like Buckeye Burl, Ironwood, Maple, Redwood and Antler.
